It's a long ferry ride to get there and likely once you're there you'll wonder what all the fuss is about Stromboli. Sure your perched along the shores of one of the world's most active volcano and the rock formations and views and spectacular, but the island literally sleeps away seasons in between rockstar visits by the likes of Madonna, Mariah Carey and the Cavalli's.
Located at La Sirenetta Hotel, the island's best hotel although we still prefer a villa, Tartana Club that is a hybrid restaurant and social lounge that attracts all passing VIPs and even the ferried nightclubbing masses to the best lounge scene in the Aeolians. Located on the water at the edge of the hotel property, a gleaming white terrace with canopy, white umbrellas and air of something quite exotic and thoroughly Italian unfolds every night during summer. Tartana Club is well decorated given the state of most Aeolian nightspots that tend more towards pubs than beach clubs, along a sexy outdoor terrace with covered bar area of yachting vixens flirting up bartenders with heaving biceps under bursting tank tops.

Better known to locals for its restaurant scene than as a nightclub, don’t miss the early season restaurant action that starts as early as April and lasts through October.
